About Us
I Am Enough Retreat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women as they navigate life's challenges and transitions. We provide transitional assistance, support, and resources for women affected by trauma, abuse, and other life-altering circumstances. Through healing-centered programs and compassionate support, we help women move from crisis to stability, reclaim their voice, embrace their worth, and create a path toward a brighter future

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Goal
Our goal is to establish transitional housing that provides safety, stability, and a pathway to independence for women and children escaping domestic violence.

Gloria Henderson, Founder
Gloria Henderson, Founder and Executive Director of I AM Enough Retreat, is a survivor of childhood physical and sexual abuse whose personal healing journey inspired her life's work of helping others heal and thrive.
In 2011, Gloria opened Soulful Journey, a boutique-style massage and wellness practice dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of her clients. Through her work, she encountered women from all walks of life, including professionals, business owners, and community leaders who, despite their accomplishments, struggled with the effects of trauma, low self-worth, self-doubt, and unhealthy relationships.
Recognizing that these challenges often transcend age, education, income, and professional success, Gloria was inspired to create a safe and supportive space where women could heal, reconnect with their inner strength, and rediscover their value.
As a result, I AM Enough Retreat was established to provide healing-centered programs, supportive resources, and transformative experiences for women impacted by trauma, abuse, and other life challenges. Through workshops, healing circles, and transitional support services, the organization empowers women to rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience, and move toward lives filled with hope, purpose, and self-sufficiency.
Gloria's vision is to help women move from surviving to thriving, while creating opportunities for healing, empowerment, and lasting transformation.
